Add insult to injury in several instances! I also have to wonder if our past actions affected what happens to our poor companions, already. I love the shifting music in the new parts, but I hope we still get to hear that lovely music from the more lighthearted parts earlier in the game. There's one piece that is my *favorite* and I would listen to it all night, if I could. I really hope we will be forgiven, in the end, but I'm sure my character understands that this all might not justify the means. Not to the people that really matter. Lovely update and I can't wait for the next one! =')

I don't cry easily but I came close several times, and then exchanging gifts with Farah, saying goodbye to her, AAAAGH that was what got me. Our breakdown in the vision about Nour + Luca's pep talk was also PHENOMENAL. I love stories that make me sad :')
I hope we get to see more of Farah, she's so precious! If anything bad ever happens to her I will be INCONSOLABLE
I'm at Chp1-3.5 and I love the characters and the plot, it's just too much words, like I have to go to talk to my brother, the walk from my chambers to the garden is 3 pages of dialogue, dreams are 6 pages each, usually I love detail but here it's way too much, to the point I start skipping some to get to the actual plot, other than the pacing I loved it

uh, this might just be me but all my saves seem to be broken. The import feature for save files keeps telling me that my files arenโt for Stygian Sun but Iโm pretty sure that they are. I donโt mind starting over, but Iโm just curious. Has this happened to anyone else? Did the update break save files?
Ive heard it happen for a lot of people when updates come out for lots of different IFs. Sometimes they seem to break and other times they dont—not sure what causes it, but there is a quick start option for the new content unless you were wanting to start elsewhere.
This game is awesome! When we got on the boat i audibly prayed that it was not the end of the demo yet. Alas, it was.
I love the way you make us really care about the characters of the story. My siblings are angels who could never do anything wrong in their life i love them, and i donยดt trust Aurynn ONE BIT!
The personality options are varied and i much enjoyed building my character (sincere, intimidating and dignified mostly so far).
Yay! Update! Itโs been SIXTEEN hours since, Iโm surprised no oneโs talking about it yet. Cool, I look forward to finally meeting Father (and Iโm one step closer to Kieran.. so close..)

i have been enjoying the game so far but it wont let me save my progress so i have to restart every time idk if it something up with the game or if its anything on my end, it just says" prompt () not suported" everytime i try
i havent heard anything like this from anyone else and it allows me to save just fine when i test it on my end. Perhaps try clearing your browser cache/cookies or using a different browser?
Make sure ur pressing save and load (on disk) options and not the import and export options, i've seen this in other IFs but the export and import options don't save ur progress lol

Wow... this game was SO captivating. Genuinely so beautifully written. Your writing was very thorough and interesting. The characters really felt like they had a personality or mind of their own, which really set this IF apart from many I've read before. And the choice options, the customization? Amazing. wow just dang this is so so good love it. i will not lie i was tearing up most of the time ugh missing someone you love as clearly as MC dose for their family just guts me. i also have been digging through all the info on tumbler. i want to hug and tell all the poor RO's that my MC will love them unconditionally and want to hug them so bad. 10/10
Im so happy that this came across my recommended games! I've grown so attached to our family and the rest of the cast, the scenes with our siblibgs or at the very least when we reminisce them; never fail at making me emotional. I think i might have run into a glitch? I started a fresh run and got to the part where Luca asks you to focus and you go through character creation, but it then continues through the quick start menu and sends me straight to the Thissys ceremony. Did I mess up somewhere?
I have to fix the restart buttons in the side menu as there are two and one doesnโt reset the variables. Use the restart button with the power symbol next to it to restart—it should prompt you are you sure you want to restart/unsaved progress will be lost. If you had clicked the QuickStart feature before and didnโt restart with the power symbol button, it will cut to the Thissys ceremony when talking to Luca.
I was prepared for a grand old time when I saw the synopsis and the little RO tidbits and I definitely got that--along with so much more. Chapter 1 was long--it was so long yet I didn't even realized the time as I went through each page. It was painful--I actually teared up with tears streaming down my face. Sniffled and wiped my tears several times too. The garden talks with Farah. The Beachside. The trade under the orange tree. Holy shit the trade under the orange tree. I didn't expected to be as affected by it but I was. I would have definitely faltered if I was the MC.
The Chapter was the perfect length to get me attached and GDI you got me attached. It hurts so much ; w ; My chest tightened and actually hurt aaaa. You have a way with words that just evokes so much emotions out of me--especially the familial scenes. Amazing writing and story. I'm a big fan of everything that's happening here.

I came here for the romance, the beautiful plot and the engaging storyline. I stayed because I cried until the end of the demo. My God.
I whined reading MC's family moments, but "Farwah would not stop crying at your door" finished me off. This is just the first chapter, THE FIRST! Why are you so crueeeeel? sobsobsob

I'm a little concerned with how slow the story is progressing, not because I think its done badly or anything like that, but I am a little worried this will turn into a behemoth of a project for you. I haven't played this in a good lil while, but I want you to know that I was scrolling and saw the thumbnail for it, thought too hard about it, and definitely got something in my eye! I wasn't getting a lil sniffly or anything. This game doesn't have that sort of power over me, no sir...I really hope it updates soon and I REALLY hope there's some more hugs. <3

man, I feel so bad for Farah. Thatโs going to be six older siblings ripped away from her in one way or another.. Sheโs a strong one, though. Probably my favourite non-RO character so far.

I think i might have run into a glitch? I started a fresh run and got to the part where Luca asks you to focus and you go through character creation, but it then continues through the quick start menu and sends me straight to the Thissys ceremony. Did I mess up somewhere?
I have to fix the restart buttons in the side menu as there are two and one doesnโt reset the variables. Use the restart button with the power symbol next to it to restart—it should prompt you are you sure you want to restart/unsaved progress will be lost. If you had clicked the QuickStart feature before and didnโt restart with the power symbol button, it will cut to the Thissys ceremony when talking to Luca.
That fixed it, thank you!
I was prepared for a grand old time when I saw the synopsis and the little RO tidbits and I definitely got that--along with so much more. Chapter 1 was long--it was so long yet I didn't even realized the time as I went through each page. It was painful--I actually teared up with tears streaming down my face. Sniffled and wiped my tears several times too. The garden talks with Farah. The Beachside. The trade under the orange tree. Holy shit the trade under the orange tree. I didn't expected to be as affected by it but I was. I would have definitely faltered if I was the MC.
The Chapter was the perfect length to get me attached and GDI you got me attached. It hurts so much ; w ; My chest tightened and actually hurt aaaa. You have a way with words that just evokes so much emotions out of me--especially the familial scenes. Amazing writing and story. I'm a big fan of everything that's happening here.

I came here for the romance, the beautiful plot and the engaging storyline. I stayed because I cried until the end of the demo. My God.
I whined reading MC's family moments, but "Farwah would not stop crying at your door" finished me off. This is just the first chapter, THE FIRST! Why are you so crueeeeel? sobsobsob
You have an incredible ability to convey emotions, atmosphere, moments, memories that happened, but will never happen again. It's beautiful, touching, and incredible. It's heartbreaking, but that's the sign of true literature.

I love love love this story so far, and the quality of your writing is so immaculate. I'm not sure I have the words to describe how skilled you are at storytelling and how to make a world feel alive.
If I may ask, do you have plans for how the pacing will be going forward? I'm a little concerned with how slow the story is progressing, not because I think its done badly or anything like that, but I am a little worried this will turn into a behemoth of a project for you. (English is my second language so I hope I'm wording things right, I'm absolutely not meaning to be rude)
